CO2 has increased at an average yearly rate of 1.5 parts per million during that time period. The last 10 years have shown a 2.0 ppm annual increase. (See the table below.) Given that rate, and recognizing that human's are only responsible for part of total atmospheric CO2, how much realistically can we reduce that CO2, no matter how hard we try?
